Nursery FAQs
FAQ's For Nursery
Where is the Nursery located?
It is located on the left hand side of the foyer once you enter the
main entrance. Once your child is signed in and given a security tag
and number, you will be directed to the appropriate room.
Who will be caring for my child in the Nursery?
The
caregivers within the Nursery are volunteers here at Christ Community.
Each volunteer must be screened using a Christ Community Nursery
Application Form along with the Alabama Child Abuse and Neglect Form
(CA/AN) and a Safety 1rst nationwide sex offender check.
How will you contact me if my child needs me?
If we need to
reach you for any reason during the Celebration Service, the LED
Display Monitors, located on each side of the stage in the Living Room,
will display your child's security code. If your child's security code
appears on the Monitors, please return to his/her classroom.
How does the Nursery keep parents involved in their child's experience at church?
Each
week when you pick up your child, his/her teacher will hand you a
CuddleGram. This CuddleGram has a summary of what your child's morning
was like during the Celebration Service, and includes things such as
when he/she had a snack, nap, diaper change, and so on.
How can I volunteer in the Nursery?
There are many positions
available where you can serve! For more information on how you can be
involved, call Krissie Womble at 273-8110 or check the box on the back
of the Worship Guide showing that you would like to volunteer in the
Nursery.
