Hi ladies! I just wanted to bring some words of encouragement and excitement to you on the subject of the upcoming Women's Retreat on the weekend of Aug. 28th. If you are anything like me, my days are loaded, my plate is full, I am exhausted and with all that being said..the kids go back to school very soon. So, the last thing I want to do is
think about another "event" to put on my plate. Sound familiar? Can you relate? Well, that is precisely why I am taking this opportunity to write and ask each of you to do just that...please make the effort to come and be among ALL of us busy woman and let us "glean" from a wonderful, Godly teacher named Jo Hancock. The actual word she
is bringing to our woman's ministry is..God of order-Order my Home! We need to be reminded HOW to order our steps and our lives. Woman are the true 'foundation' of the home and if we are not Spiritually, Emotionally & Physically well and nourished then everything else in our lives will be CHAOS! I pray & desire that you make the decision to come. Even if you are not prone to Retreats   or if you may not feel comfortable being around other women or maybe you think you
are too old or too young..please ask the Lord to guide you.I sometimes feel the enemy likes to make us feel "not apart" or have thoughts of "how boring" just to keep us in isolation from the "family of God". We need to learn to lean on each other, use each others gifts and remember to fellowship with one another. You can always bring a friend or relative and what woman doesn't like to be surrounded by beautiful flowers and treated like a lady for the evening? My words are totally motivated from being a wife, mother & friend in this busy world we live in and could use some encouragement myself. Jesus has offered to "fill our cups" with the words that HE graciously has given to Mrs. Jo. Please come and don't forget to bring those worn-out, empty "cups"...
