Who We Are...
On September 8, 1996, a new work of faith called Christ Community Church opened it's doors for worship. We are a church body that purposes to be exciting, alive, relational, and above all, biblical. Over the years, many people have been meeting Jesus Christ and their lives have been radically changed. This has become a place of renewal. We know that God has us on an incredible journey of faith. you are invited to join this Faith Family in our pursuit of the Kingdom of God.

This We Believe...
God in Three Persons
There is one and only one living and true God. He is an intelligent, spiritual, and personal being, the Creator, Redeemer, Preserver and Ruler of the Universe. To Him we owe the highest love, reverence and obedience. The Eternal God reveals Himself to us Father, Son and Holy Spirit with distinct personal attributes but without division of nature, essence or being.
God the Father
God the Father is Spirit and is without origins. All things come from Him, and in Him all people "live and move and have their being" (Acts 17:28). "No one who denies the Son has the Father; whoever acknowledges the Son has the Father also." (1 John 2:23 NIV)
God the Son
Through Jesus Christ, God has perfectly and completely reveals Himself to those who would know Him. "...God has spoken to us by His son... through whom He made the universe. The Son is the radiance of God's glory and the exact representation of His being... " (Hebrews 1:2-3) For in Christ all the fullness of the Deity lives in bodily form, ..." (Colossians 2:99 NIV)
God the Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit is a person. He thinks, sees, hears, speaks, and performs any act of which personality is capable. We can cause the Holy Spirit to grieve when we do not trust Him to lead us. (Ephesians 4:30). When we are born again, the Spirit comes and makes us God's possession (Romans 8:9). Every believe is told by Scripture to be filled with the Holy Spirit to be equipped for service (Ephesians 5:18). The Holy Spirit should flow out of the believer like rivers of living water (John 7:38). The same Holy Spirit that lived in Jesus Christ and raised Him from the dead, lives in us- we are His dwelling place. by that same Spirit we are able to continue the ministry Jesus had here n earth in bodily form.
Scriptures Inspiried
The scriptures, both Old and New Testaments, are inspired of God and are the Revelation of God to man. The infallible, authoritative Rule of Faith and Conduct. Preaching the Word will be central to the success of this Faith Family (II Timothy 3:15-17)
Creation
"In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth. Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters." (Genesis 1:1-2 NIV)
Virgin Birth
"But after he had considered this, an angel of the Lord appears to him in a dream and said, "Joseph, son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary home as your wife, because what is conceived him her is from the Holy Spirit. She will give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus, because he will save his people from their sins." (Matthew 1:20-21 NIV)
Salvation of Man
Man's only hope of redemption is through the shed of blood of Jesus Christ, the Son of God. Salvation is the Gift of God received through repentance toward God and faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. (John 3:16, Romans 10:9-10)
Church
The church is a group of spirit-filled believes brought together by the Spirit of God to carry out the Great Commission. We observe two ordinances; Baptism and the Lord's Supper.
Baptism
Baptism is an outward expression of an inward happening that has occurred in the life of the Believer. It is an identification with Christ by picturing His death, burial and resurrection.
Lord's Supper
The Lord's Supper is a means of grace where believers take time for personal examination and reflection as we observe the Lord's death until He comes. The bread and cup are symbols of His body and blood which were broken and spilled out for our salvation and is done in "remembrance" of Him until He comes again.
Worship
It is our desire that true worship will be manifested in everything we do. Worship is our response to God for who He is and what He has done expressed by the way we live. It's about our lives. Psalm 103:1 says, "My whole being praise the Lord. All my being praise His holy name." Focusing our mind's attention on the Lord pushes us to know Him and glorify Him.
Spiritual Gifts
The exercise of spiritual gifts is intended to be a part of the normal life of the Christian community. Spiritual gifts are more than natural talent;s they are supernatural. It is wrong to ignore or deny the gifts, and equally wrong to overemphasize one or two of them to the point of abuse. The scripture makes it plain that we are to strongly desire the possession of spiritual gifts (I Corinthians 12:31, I Corinthians 14:1). The gifts are given by the Holy Spirit to individual believes to accomplish the work of the Holy Spirit through the believer toward the world and within the Church. Gifts equip the believer to accomplish what natural talent cannot do, and are they principal means whereby the earthly ministry of Jesus Christ continues on earth today.
